Himalayan Reetha Shells - 200g
Himalayan reetha shells are most commonly used eco friendly laundry detergent. Reetha shells are always a safe bet to clean your laundry.
Himalayan Reetha shells contain a very high percentage of saponins, a surfactant which removes dirt and oils from laundry. They are highly-effective and gentle at the same time. It will leave your laundry fresh and clean, when compared to other detergents, its mildness will keep colors bright, maintaining fabric structure of your clothes for longer periods. Himalayan reetha shells can be used in front and top loading washing machines.
Himalyan reetha shells are Easy to use and safe for all kinds of fabrics like silk, cotton, kids, nappies etc. The best part is that they are allergy-free and hence are good for your skin especially good for babies, eczema, skin infections and sensitive skin.

Each pack contains Organic Himalayan reetha shells without seeds,
1 reusable cotton drawstring bag.
Usage Instructions
Use 20gms (for 5kgs load) of shells (approx. 4 to 5 gms of shells for 1kg of soiled clothes) in the muslin/cotton bag.
Method 1
Soak the bag with shells in 250 ml hot water for 30mins or in cold water overnight. Put the water and muslin bag with shells into the drum(Make sure you tie the bag well). Run regular wash cycle at 35 or 40deg.
Remove the muslin bag with the rinsed clothes and dry the shells, the same shells can be used for 3 to 4 times. The same can be followed for bucket wash.
Method 2
Add the bag with reetha shells in to the drum of the washing machine along with laundry, Run hot wash cycle(45deg). Remove the muslin bag with the rinsed clothes and dry the shells, the same shells can be used for 3 to 4 times.
Note - Additionally you can add few drops of essential oil during rinse cyclefor fragrance.
Care Instructions
Store the shells in an airtight box away from moisture, as reetha shells absorb moisture and spoil over time.
Drawstring bag is reusable and can be hand washed with natural detergent and line dried.
Packaging
It comes in a simple food grade paper cover with paper tape and sticker paper label.
End of Life
The used shells and the muslin bag can be composted or can be used as manure for plants or can be added to the wet waste.
Uses
Just soak few shells in hot water over night and your all natural liquid detergent/soap is ready the next day.
