Vetiver roots

Vetiver/Khus has been known in India from ancient times. It can be considered as a high-class perfume and has cooling properties.

As per the Ayurvedic literature, it is also called ‘Sita-mulaka’ (having cool roots) and ‘Suganti-mulaka’ (means sweet smelling).

The aroma of Vetiver/Khus roots is woody, earthy, uplifting, relaxing, and comforting.

Vetiver/Khus roots are used to make cooling fragrant water, which can be used for drinking, facewash, bodywash, hairwash, and foot soak,

This water also helps in painful urination and provides relief. It also cools the body from excessive heat during summer, heat stroke, etc.

The amount of Vetiver/Khus roots to be added to water is an individual choice. But this water can be very aromatic, so add Vetiver/Khus roots according to your taste.

Wash and Immerse 4 to 5 strands of root in 1 ltr of water for 2 to 3 hours and consume the water for relief from body heat, sun stroke, and cooling effect.

Apart fromwater, vettiver can be used to make vettiver body scrubber, window hangings, room freshener, etc.

Butterfly pea flower

Butterfly pea flower tea(popularly known as blue tea) is an herbal infusion native to South Asia.

Apart from being a natural food colourant, blue tea is widely consumed for its medicinal properties.

The blue colour is due to their high content of anthocyanins — antioxidant pigments also found in other blue and purple fruits and vegetables.

Once brewed, the tea may change colour to red, violet, or green, depending on its pH or acidity level. You can modify this by adding lemon, kesar water, etc.

To enjoy a refreshing glass of blue tea on a hot day, simply let the tea cool, transfer to a glass, and add crushed ice or drink it warm on a rainy day.

So, next time you feel like a hot cup of tea or iced tea, why not reach for blue tea?
